The Rurals - Nettle Soul

This is a album from The Rurals.

The Rurals are a deep house group from Devon, England.

Alot of the tracks have quite an acoustic feel which is not seen enough in the genre.

The vocals of Marie Tweek combined with the Bass of Pete Middleton keep the lounge atmosphere alive throughout. This is particularly evident in the last track 'Addict'.

I was fairly surprised to see that the group were from Devon and indeed the UK as some of the more classic lounge tracks have alot of similarities with those of the great Dutch/Continental producers.

Enjoy the album, if you like this group please consider purchasing their music which is available from the iTunes music store and many others.

Thanks

I enjoy music with a jazz element in it. Whether that be liquid funk, deep house, nu soul etc.

I'm going to be posting the tracks and albums i'm listening to at the moment on here.
